Beach Day AGAIN

hhh the fabulous repetition of the Great Aussie Summer, Beach day. And it happens again and again and again. So here it is, again! This time, the weather was not so hot. But here we are all freezing our tits off and having fun.

As much as we tell her, she still thinks you can eat sand?!

I guess we are running here to keep warm?

Strawberry Pickins

We went for a lovely drive to the beach on the peninsular the other day.. and I didn't get us lost for once. (Its hard remembering stuff having been away from home so long!) Went to Point Leo, one of my childhood surf breaks and Flinders, where I surfed my first real waves waaay back! Just past Flinders is a place called Red Hill its into the hinterland a bit and sit up on a hill, go figure!? There are lots of orchards, wineries and berry farms there... and we decided to go strawberry pickin!

The Beach...

Well we are not quite there yet... but oh! is it ever tempting me. The great Aussie summer is what I am pining for and I cant wait. Here is a little taste of a cool spring day on an empty beach with the family, celebrating my mums and dads brithday. Its one of my favourite beaches, about 50 min from Melbourne. Hastings Beach. Enjoy!

Another adventure at Collingwood Children's Farm

Yep, we hit it again, the Collingwood Childrens Farm.  Manon has grown a great love for chickens. When she see's one, she goes spastic screaming "Chick Chick", and runs after it.  The poor chicken scrambles off in shock.  We also loved the baby hamster and baby goats.  And personally my favourite was when Manon ran down hill.  Fell into a pile of poo and brambles in such excitement.  Because I was feeding baby goats and had one little bugger standing on my back! (Wish I had a photo of that one) 

Baking Cakes

We were having a bit of a quiet day, the weather was not that good, so I decided that we would bake a cake. It was her first and my successful first!  So much fun apart from us getting "mess mess" everywhere!

Birthday with the Queen
