Crazy face paintings
Manon has been asking me for ages to get some face paint. Well we got some. And here is our first attempt at drawing on each other. She just loved it. More tomorrow she rekons...
Birthday love
What a lovely day it was to spend my 33rd! Went down to the peninsular, had a wonderful lunch at Heronswood gardens, spent some time at a local beach and then onto the vintage shed to pick out a pressie for me! How lucky am I. Strange though... the sun was only shining down the coast. In Melbourne was raining and so dreary! Yea for the adventure.
Enjoy the beach pictures we got in the middle of winter, lucky us.

Snow Day
Yea you all read right! Snow in Australia, and what a cover it was. 3 cm of patchy, grassy, rocky slushy snow. But we all loved it. Went to Mt Donna Buang, about 2 hours away from the city out into the Yarra Ranges. Manon just about passed out, Erik was itching to frolic, I was in bliss seeing how happy everyone was and Willa slept through it all. We had hot dogs and hot chocolate in the car park as an extra special treat!

A wee little holiday away
Down to Wye River Big 4 Camp Ground we went. About 3 hours down the Great Ocean Rd, past the sea side town of Lorne. And that is where you will find Wye River. "We" really really really wanted to go camping. Yep... is cold right now and I did not really want to go camping much at all with two kids who are up all night!!! So I won and we went "cabining" instead. And we got a cool little cabin, Manon called it her cocoon, and I called it luxury! We went hiking a little, jumping on a rainbow trampoline, building sandcastles, rock-pooling and just hanging. Twas a swell time. (But I realised we didnt take a single picture of the beach??!?)
