Well folks we did it. Yep, we bought ourselves a very cute, very in need of a renovation, home!! No more eating on the floor sans kitchen table, no more hearing the upstairs neighbor pee, no more dust bunnies, mildew or 100 year old grime, or living with the lovely parents and parents in law!!!
We bought in a very awesome area of Melbourne. Right on a little creek, called Merri Creek. Right near the CBD, where all the cafes, shops, hippies, artists and local freaks live. Just the way we like it. I already have a good girlfriend living in the hood, my cousin is there too. We are really excited about this one.
Lots of renos to do. We got to get this house up and running. Unfortunately settlement is in Oct... and then we got the renos... so it may be a fresh start to the new year with this place. I will keep you all updated on photos.
Best thing is that the previous owners lived in the house for 40 years and all the cousins and aunts and kids were there when we signed the contract feeding us Italian coffee and little yummy bikkies. So cute.
